Aim of the workshop
The aim of the workshop is to provide an overview of seed sampling for moisture analysis and aspects of quality assurance in relation to purity and moisture analysis for a range of species.
The workshop will focus on theorotical and practical exercises, providing an opportunity to use different purity and moisture equipment, and will include practicals for the record and reporting to ISTA Rules.
Workshop content
- Species included in the Purity and Other Seed Determination Workshop are: Triticum aestivum subsp. aestivum, vegetable seeds, mixture seeds of grasses and coated seed analysis.
- Species included in Moisture Analysis are: (fine grinding,coarse grinding, no grinding)
- Sampling for moisture analysis and ISTA Accreditation Standarts.
All analysis results are calculated, recorded and reported according to ISO/17025 Standards..

The participation fee includes all literature and supporting material for the workshop, lunches, coffee breaks and workshop official dinner. It does not include accommodation or meals other than those specified.
The number of participants is a minimum of 25 and restricted to a maximum of 30 participants.
Registration and payment deadline is 15 August 2025
Please note:
For cancellations made before 15 August 2025 registration fees are refundable minus a 50 EUR administration fee.
For cancellations made after 15 August 2025 registration fees are non-refundable.

Please contact the local organiser for accommodation options and how to book. Guests may book directly with the hotel and will be responsible for payment of their own room, taxes and incidentals.
