Statistical Review of Proficiency Tests and Tolerance Tables

We will review the proficiency test rating system, examine germination and purity testing examples in depth, and briefly review other proficiency tests. ISTA uses tolerance tables to quantify acceptable levels of variability in replicated observations. We will review the mathematical foundations of tolerance tables, provide detailed examples for germination and tetrazolium tests, and briefly review tolerance tables for other tests.
