Conditions of Use & Sale
Terms and Conditions of Sale
When you order any item from this website, you accept these ISTA Terms and Conditions of Sale (TCS) and any other document on this website (www.seedtest.org) especially the GDPR and Copyright policies. Please make sure you read all these terms before finalising your purchase.
Payments may be done either by credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer. Payments by bank transfer must be made in Swiss Francs (CHF) or the currency chosen/displayed during the payment process.
After placing your order, you will receive an invoice by e-mail with all the necessary information.
For bank transfer please make sure, all details necessary like the order number must be noted. All bank charges are borne by the client. Shipping will only be done after the full amount is paid to and received by ISTA.
All commissions of ISTA paper Certificates or purchases of calibration samples are shipped by and from the ISTA Secretariat in Wallisellen (Switzerland). They are dispatched as soon as the order has been processed. Shipment costs need to be borne by the client.
Electronic documents (like ISTA Rules, ISTA Handbooks, or similar) will be prepared to be downloaded by the client.
Clients are supplied with shipment and tracking information and are advised to check the status of their shipment regularly to avoid hold up in customs and/or return of their items.
ISTA does not accept any returns for shipped items or electronic documents.
For ISTA events (like Congresses, Annual Meetings, Symposia, workshops, training, etc.) the cancellation policy mentioned in the event information applies.
Data Protection and Copyright Policies
Please observe any other legal document on this website (www.seedtest.org) especially the GDPR and Copyright policies.
VAT and Local or Other Taxes
VAT will apply to all orders with a billing address in Switzerland or if items will be stored within Switzerland (physically or electronically). No taxes are charged for the delivery of goods outside of Switzerland. Payment of any local or other taxes, including customs, which may be applied to orders dispatched outside Switzerland is the total responsibility of the client.
Limitations and Governing Law
ISTA does not take any liability on shipments of the aforementioned goods as well as Proficiency Test samples or similar goods. ISTA is not liable for any hold-up in customs or any unwanted return of the shipments.
These TCS are governed exclusively by Swiss Law. The Court of Bülach is agreed by both parties as a place of jurisdiction.
Should individual provisions of these TCS be ineffective or unenforceable or become ineffective or unenforceable after the conclusion of these TCS, the validity of the rest of these TCS remains unaffected. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid and enforceable provision whose effects come closest to the (economic) objective pursued by the contracting parties with the invalid or unenforceable provision. The above provisions apply accordingly in the event that these TCS prove to be incomplete.
Should you have any questions about these TCS, please do not hesitate to contact us.
