Aim of the workshop 

The workshop aims to provide training, resources and a forum for intermedia-level analysts or other professionals in a seed testing laboratory to further develop skills and understanding in purity analysis and other seed determination.

 

Workshop content

The content of the workshop is planned for the following topics:

  • How to build seed identification resources and references
  • Seed morphology and identification of common plant families, and species identification of Brassicaceae species, Clovers, Medicago and Grasses
  • Steps for the identification of unknown seeds
  • ISTA rules and reporting on purity analysis and OSD, such as PSD definitions and exercises, coated seeds, and seed mixture testing.
  • Forum on the method innovation in Purity Analysis and OSD

ISTA Members: 750 EUR
ISTA Non-Members: 1125 EUR

The participation fee includes all literature and supporting material for the workshop, lunches, coffee breaks and workshop official dinner. It does not include accommodation or meals other than those specified.

The number of participants is a minimum of 25 and restricted to a maximum of 30  participants. 

Registration and payment deadline is 20 June 2025

Please note:  
For cancellations made before 20 June 2025 registration fees are refundable minus a 50 EUR administration fee. 
For cancellations made after 20 June 2025 registration fees are non-refundable. 


Accomodation recommendations

Guests may book directly with the hotel and will be responsible for payment of their own room, taxes and incidentals.
