Information

Aim of the workshop 

The workshop aims to provide training, resources, and a forum for intermediate-level analysts or other professionals in a seed testing laboratory; to further and develop their skills or understanding in purity analysis and other seed determination.  

Workshop content

The content of the workshops is planned for the following topics: 

  • How to build seed identification resources and reference  

  • Seed morphology and identification of Brassicaceae species and clovers 

  • Steps on the identification of unknown seeds 

  • ISTA PSD definition and exercise 

  • Blower procedure and practice 

  • Forum on the method innovation in Purity analysis and OSD 

The language will be English – no translation.

Participation Fee

ISTA Members 

700 EUR                         

ISTA Non-Members 1050 EUR

The participation fee includes all literature and supporting material for the workshop, lunches, coffee breaks and workshop official dinner. It does not include accommodation or meals other than those specified.

The number of participants is a minimum of 16 and restricted to a maximum of 24 participants. 

If you would like to attend the workshop please fill in the registration form. In case you select payment by invoice the invoice will be sent to you, which has to be paid before the participation confirmation will be generated. 
 

Registration and payment deadline is 20 May 2024

Please note:  
For cancellations made before 20 May 2024 registration fees are refundable less the 50 EUR administration fee.   
For cancellations made after 20 May 2024 registration fees are non-refundable.
