Aim of the workshop
This workshop aims at presenting and discussing basic principles of quality management and it focuses on the needs of seed testing laboratories that wish to comply with the ISTA Accreditation Standard and prepare for attaining and maintaining ISTA Accreditation.

Preliminary Programme
The theoretical background will be given through lectures. The workshop language is English. Participants of this workshop will be actively involved through group work, discussions and presentations. The ISTA Accreditation Standard will be used during the group work.

System part

- How to build a Quality documentation
- Document control
- Internal audits and how to prepare a checklist
- Corrective actions and non-conforming work    

Technical part

- Dealing with the calibration of equipment, e.g.  how to calibrate balances, seed dividers.
- Statistical aspects in seed testing - Sampling and Storage of samples

Participation Fee

ISTA Members:
300 USD  
ISTA Non-Members: 450 USD

Registration and payment deadline: 18 May 2018

The participation fee includes all literature and supporting material for the workshop, lunches and coffee breaks, excursion, workshop dinner.
It does not include accommodation or meals other than those specified.

The number of participants is a minimum of 16 and limited to a maximum of 25 participants.  

An invoice will be sent to you, which has to be paid before the participation confirmation will be generated. Please indicate any dietary requirements during registration.

Please note:
For cancellations made before 30 April 2018 registration fees are refundable less 100 USD administration fee.
For cancellations made after 1 May 2018 registration fees are non-refundable.
