BIOTRADESTATUS
Biotradestatus is a website collecting information regarding the actual commercial status of many agricultural biotechnology products (currently commercialized/date of last seed sales/never-commercialized). The information is provided and updated by the companies that have developed the GM events listed in the database. Users of the database must be aware, however, that other companies, organizations or institutions may have developed or commercialized other products not included in this listing.
CERA
Center for Environmental Risk Assessment (CERA), a center of excellence within the non-profit ILSI Research Foundation, develops and applies sound science to the environmental risk assessment of agricultural biotechnologies so their contributions to sustainable production of food, fuel and fiber may be safely realized. In addition to its research activities, the Center curates the GM Crop Database, a comprehensive resource of scientific, safety and regulatory information about genetically modified (GM) plants and foods.  The database includes events that have received regulatory approval (food, feed and/or environmental release) in at least one country.  The database can be searched by event name, crop plant, trait, inserted gene, type of approval, country and/or original developer.
GMO COMPASS
GMO COMPASS is a website supported by the European Union, it provides an updated GMO database containing information about every genetically modified plant that has been approved or is awaiting approval in the EU. For each event, overview of application status, short description of the GM plant, summary of risk assessment and links to related publicly available documents and currently validated detection methods can be found.
United States Regulatory Agencies Unified Biotechnology Website
The United States Regulatory Agencies Unified Biotechnology Website can be searched for a given event (by typing the species name, the trait or the name of the event); detailed information can be obtained by clicking on "more information".  Particularly relevant is the information obtainable by accessing "USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service - Status: Granted petition for non-regulated status".

Further description of transgenic events can be obtained also from Patent databases (United States Patent and Trademark Office; European Patent Office) if Patent N. is known.
